Countries are signing the Artemis Accords which will set the rules for space exploration

 South Korea recently became the country joined the Artemis Accord. But what is Artemis Accord means. The Artemis Accords by NASA in 2020, is to establish a set of principles or Law relating to the exploration of space. According to NASA, the rules and accords is in existence is to create a safe environment into space, which facilitates exploration and technological advancements and all commercial activities for all human.




South Korean minister of science and ICT - Lim Hyesook signed all Artemis Accords.

South Korea is not only the one who signed it, the accords have already been signed by Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Luxembourg, Italy and the United States of America.


The Artemis mission brings us back to the lunar surface for not only discovering but for staying firstly the scientists for long period of time.




The accords reinforce that space resource extraction will be conducted under the protection of th Outer Space Treaty. Many space exploration agencies already looking for places in another planets to extract new resources and minerals.

The rules are clear that the protection and preservation of sites and artifacts will be just important in space.

Artemis Accords also calls for plans for the mitigation of space debris and also for the disposal of spacecraft at the end of their missions. Which is very important for the future of earth.
